Kristyn Spiller grew up in Belton, Missouri where she attended high school. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing at the University of Central Missouri. Kristyn resides in Raymore, Missouri with her 2 daughters (Pyper, 15 and Londyn, 11).  She is a Certified Pediatric Registered Nurse and has been a Core Charge Nurse at Children's Mercy for over 20 years. She is also a Triage Nurse at Ascentist Healthcare. 

As Daryl Cronk's partner in life, Kristyn saw the impact he had on others every single day. It was his passion and his calling to mentor others and she is dedicated to continuing his legacy, honoring his life and making his dream a reality. Kristyn founded The Daryl Cronk DASH Foundation in 2022. 

Dr. Kelly Spiller grew up in Belton, Missouri, attended O'Hara High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Pathology and Master’s Degree in Audiology from the University of Central Missouri. She currently resides in Raymore, Missouri with her husband (Travis), 4 children (Rylee, Mackenzey, Peyton and Maddox) and is a foster parent to children in need of a loving home. 

​Dr. Spiller is an ASHA-certified Doctor of Audiology, founder of Professional Hearing Center and President of ENT Associates of Greater Kansas City. In February 2016 Dr. Spiller founded a non-profit company – Lend An Ear Foundation. 

Crystal Anderson grew up in Belton, Missouri where she attended high school. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and completed the Master's program in Speech Communication at the University of Central Missouri. Crystal currently resides in South Jordan, Utah with her husband (Cory) and daughter (Ally, 9) where she is the Vice President at MX Technologies. 

Matt Carpenter grew up in Kansas City and currently resides in Blue Springs with his wife (Kendra), daughter (Ava 17) and son (George 12). He is Head Baseball Coach at Avila University and has coached baseball at the youth, high school and collegiate level in Kansas City for over 20 years.  

Matt and Daryl became friends after an otherwise ordinary encounter- when Matt sold sunglasses to Daryl at a sporting goods store. They developed a friendship and Daryl would later hire Matt as an Assistant Coach at Avila.  Daryl started out as a mentor and quickly became one of Matt's most dear friends. Matt is dedicated to supporting the local baseball community - coaches, players and parents - and to honor his dear friend and mentor. 

Chris Walker grew up in Kansas City prior to moving to Cole Camp, MO in high school.  He went on to play baseball at Rockhurst University where he earned an Undergraduate Degree in Biology and a Master's Degree in Education. After college, Chris moved to San Diego where he was a teacher and coach and where he first met Daryl Cronk. They had an instant connection as Kansas City natives and eventually ran showcases and recruited local players together. 

In 2014, Chris and his soon-to-be wife announced their move back to Kansas City. Daryl immediately invited Chris to be an assistant baseball coach at Avila University where he still coaches to this day. Chris is an anatomy teacher at Lee's Summit North in Lee's Summit, Missouri. 

Randy Keen grew up in Napa, California until he was recruited by Coach Daryl Cronk to play baseball at Avila University in 2015-2016. Randy was recruited by Daryl out of Napa Junior College where he earned an Associates Degree in Social Sciences. Later, Randy earned a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiology from Avila. He currently lives in Belton, Missouri with his wife (Roni) and two children, (Kinkade, 2 and Billi, 10 months).  Randy is currently an equipment operator for a local construction company and in the process of creating his own remodeling company. 

Preston Pruett grew up in Kansas City and currently resides in Lee's Summit with his wife (Tiffany), son (Camden, 5) and daughter (Kendall, 3). He graduated from Pittsburg State University in 2012 and then completed Graduate coursework at Avila University where he was a Graduate Assistant with the Baseball team alongside Daryl. 

Preston is the nephew of Daryl.  Growing up, Daryl was much more than an uncle to Preston.  In fact, they seemed to be attached at the hip since Preston was born. Preston and Daryl have many memories together spent playing, watching, and talking about sports. These moments spent together is where Preston believes his love for sports truly began. Daryl frequently took Preston down to Pitts State to spend time with the team, travel to different ballparks, and was coached by Daryl in little league. Daryl was the person he admired the most and was his role model. Preston currently is a Sales Manager for Breakthru Beverage in Kansas City. 

Kevin grew up in Belton, MO and was childhood friends with Daryl starting in 1984 when they were 9 and 10 years old. Their friendship continued throughout high school and in 1995, Kevin was able to get Daryl to follow him to Pitt State to join him on the Gorilla baseball team where they helped lead the team to arguably the best seasons in school history. 

Coaching has always been a passion of Kevin's as he started coaching youth baseball in the summer of 1992. He convinced his lifelong friend to help him coach these teams in the mid 90's which soon got Daryl hooked and the rest was history. Kevin and Daryl coached together in various roles for the next 20 years. 

Kevin and his wife Stephanie have been married for 22 years and have 3 children - Kollin (20), Kole (17), & Kaitlyn (13) - and reside in rural Belton, MO.

Brandon Chandler was born and raised in La Mirada, California. In 2014 he moved to Kansas City to play baseball for Coach Daryl Cronk at Avila University. Following his playing career, he coached alongside Coach Cronk as the graduate assistant in 2019. Brandon received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Master’s Degree in Finance from Avila University. He is now a financial planner with RBC Wealth Management in Leawood, Kansas.
